Agile Coach

Functions

The Agile Coach trains and coaches stakeholders (Product Owner, Scrum Master, analysts, developers and testers) and implements Scrum management practices and Agile engineering concepts. He leads, oversees and coordinates projects that aim to convert entire organisations to Agility principles. He assists with implementing agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

The Agile Coach guides his team through best practices relating to the expression of needs, scheduling, development practices, pair programming, refactoring, etc.
Overall, he keeps projects moving forward through all phases of the development cycle.

Qualities

Scrum Masters are experts in Agile project management methodology (especially Scrum).

They are also well versed in technical environments and design/development frameworks.

Scrum Masters have a highly developed team spirit which enables them to have optimum interaction with the other team members to move the project forward.
