The E-commerce Project Manager develops a dedicated e-commerce strategy to meet a company’s sales objectives. Whether they are working to launch an e-commerce site for a brick and mortar business, a pure player or an agency, the E-commerce and Internet Manager is driven solely by ROI with the aim of increasing the company’s TO through digital channels.

He works on e-merchandising, which means he manages and coordinates sales operations for the sites under his responsibility (content updates, tag line selection, etc.). The E-commerce Project Manager decides which web marketing channels to use – organic SEO, paid SEA, social networks, displays, partnerships, affiliates or email marketing – to increase website activity. He can also decide to make technical changes to the site to optimise sales conversions.

The work of the E-commerce Project Manager brings him into contact with individuals such as the digital project manager, web designers, developers, integrators and so on.
